Sort This Out Cellars: Where Wiseguys Raise a Glass to "This Thing of Ours"

Where do wiseguys meet up with The Rat Pack for a glass of VinoNostra? No, its not the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas. Those days are long gone and the Venetian now sits on the site of the former Sands Hotel. Wiseguys and their goomah's are loading up into the Cadillac and heading to the quaint town of Solvang in the Santa Ynez Valley. Don't be alarmed. They are only here for the wine and not to shakedown local businesses...yet.


So who is this "friend of ours" opening shop in a Danish tourist town? Michael "The Big Winner" Cobb and his associates opened this storefront known as Sort This Out Cellars a couple weeks ago and business is booming. After feeling the heat in nearby Buellton, they packed up shop and moved east to Solvang. Since then, the place has been packed with wiseguys from all the territories: New York, Providence, Chicago, Kansas City and even places far out west. Word is spreading to locals and tourists about this place too. One part of the storefront is gaining some reputation. The "High Rollers Lounge" is being described as a room to make deals while playing a hand of blackjack. In the main room or "tasting room" as they call it, everyone seems to be enjoying a glass of wine from the Suited Collection and some want to "Ante Up Syrah." No worries, the tasting bar is big enough to accommodate everyone. We don't need Tommy coming in here again trying to start something with Billy Bats because Billy asked Tommy to get "his shinebox." Tommy unloaded on Billy and we had to close shop for a while.

We'll see how long our friends stay around. There is a lot of competition in town from "friends of ours" like Carivintas Winery, but there is enough vino to go around to make us all rich for a long time. If you are in the mood to hang out with the likes of Moe Green and The Rat Pack (Frank and Dino often make an appearance), then head to Solvang and visit Sort This Out Cellars. Otherwise, we'll have to make you an offer you can't refuse. Capiche, paisano?!
